Nigerian Disc Jockey and philanthropist Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has expressed hope about the possibility of Nigeria electing a female president in the future.

Cuppy had said this in a tweet while reacting to Namibia’s historic milestone as the first African country to have a female President and a female Vice President.
Namibia’s achievement has been widely praised as a progressive step towards gender equality around the world, with many including Cuppy hoping that Nigeria will follow suit and give leadership at the highest level to a woman.
Her tweet read;
