Chairman of the Ad-hoc Committee investigating the benefits accruing to the Federal Government from the concessioning of Nigerian ports and terminals, Hon. Kolawole Davidson Akinlayo, has expressed delight over the completion of the reconstruction and renovation of three schools across Ekiti North Federal Constituency II.
The intervention, according to the lawmaker’s media team, was aimed at improving the quality of learning infrastructure and creating safer and more conducive environments for pupils and students across the constituency.
The beneficiary schools include Amure High School, Ikun Ekiti, in Moba Local Government Area; Community Primary School, Ipere Ekiti, in Ilejemeje Local Government Area; and Babalola Borisade High School, Usi Ekiti, in Ido/Osi Local Government Area.
The projects, which have been completed, are expected to provide improved learning facilities for pupils and students in the three communities while addressing some of the infrastructure challenges confronting the schools.
At Amure High School, Ikun Ekiti, the intervention is expected to enhance the learning environment for students and support the school community in providing better educational services.
Similarly, Community Primary School, Ipere Ekiti, in Ilejemeje Local Government Area, benefited from the intervention as part of efforts to improve basic education infrastructure and provide pupils with a more suitable environment for learning.
Babalola Borisade High School, Usi Ekiti, in Ido/Osi Local Government Area, was also included in the constituency intervention, bringing the number of beneficiary schools to three across the federal constituency.
The projects are part of Hon. Akinlayo’s constituency interventions aimed at addressing critical infrastructure needs and improving the welfare of residents, particularly children and young people who depend on public educational institutions.
The completion of the projects also underscores the importance of constituency-level interventions in complementing government efforts to strengthen education infrastructure and improve access to quality learning environments.
According to the Akinlayo Media Team, the renovation and reconstruction projects reflect the lawmaker’s commitment to strengthening education infrastructure and improving the welfare of learners across Ekiti North Federal Constituency II.
