A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and a former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oyebo Aladetan, has described Chief Olusola Oke as the best candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Aladetan made this statement during a stakeholders’ meeting of the Olusola Oke Support Group in the Ondo East Local Government chapter. He asserted that Oke remains the most qualified among all the contenders for the seat of the state governor.
According to him, Oke is a grassroots politician widely accepted across all three senatorial districts of the state. Aladetan emphasized that managing the affairs of the state requires someone with the requisite experience in governance and leadership.

He stated that governing a state like Ondo demands a leader who understands the state, its people, and potentials. Aladetan pointed out that Oke is a homegrown politician who comprehends the needs of the people.
The lawmaker argued that Oke is the best choice for the party if inclusiveness and organization are desired. He believes that Oke is crucial for the all-around growth of the state.
Aladetan shared his experience, saying, “I have worked with three governors who have ruled this state. I worked with Dr. Olusegun Agagu of blessed memory. I worked with Dr. Olusegun Mimiko and Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. I can tell from my experience that, among all the gubernatorial aspirants, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, is still the best.”
“As a leader in his local government area, he produced almost all of us who are today political gladiators in Ilaje Local Government Area of the state. He has been a great community leader with an unparalleled impact among his people. He has always been around and with his people across the state.”
“If we need a governor who will manage the party, govern the state according to our reality, and if we want a leader that is tested, experienced, and armed with the required sagacity and courage that the office of the governor requires, Oke is the best for us.”
Aladetan added, “We know him, he knows us, and what we are capable of doing. We must not make the mistake of falling prey to the bogus promises of the moment.”
