Think Big is the University of Bristol’s flagship scholarship scheme, providing funding towards tuition fees for international students studying eligible undergraduate or postgraduate courses.
The Think Big international scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students could help you fund your UK study at the University of Bristol. University of Bristol has invested up to £5 million in Think Big scholarships to help international students come to Bristol in 2027.
These scholarships are for applicants with overseas fee status who have applied for an eligible undergraduate or master’s course.
Benefits
- Think Big undergraduate scholarships are valued at £6,500 and £13,000 for up to four years of study.
- Think Big postgraduate scholarships are valued at £3,000, £6,500, £13,000 and £26,000 for your first year of study.
Requirements
You can apply if you:
- have already applied to start an eligible course in September 2027
- and you are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes.
You do not need to have received an offer to study before submitting an international scholarship application.
Eligible Courses
- Any undergraduate course for up to four years of study delivered in person.
- Any one-year postgraduate taught or master’s by research programme delivered in person.
Non-eligible courses
- Distance learning, online and part-time courses and programmes are not eligible.
