The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has claimed that President Donald Trump will introduce what he described as Nigeria’s style of politics in the United States.
Ayodele made the statement in a video on X, while reacting to the Democrats’ reported victories in the US elections, including gains in Ohio and North Carolina and their takeover of the Senate.
The cleric blamed Trump’s leadership style, tariff policies, and what he described as selfishness for the Republican Party’s setbacks.
He also claimed that Americans no longer wanted Trump, his party or those associated with him.
He recalled that before the elections, he had spoken about pressure on the Republican Party and the possibility of Democrats making significant gains in key states.
“The Reps and the Senate are shaking; Democrats are coming,” he said.
Ayodele concluded by telling his audience that the political situation in America could take a direction similar to what he described as Nigeria’s political practice.
“This Nigerian practice is coming to America; wait and see, Trump will introduce it,” he said.
