President Bola Tinubu has laid before the Senate, the 2025-2027 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) ahead of the presentation of the estimates of the 2025 budget.

Tinubu sought expeditious consideration and approval of the documents, saying that they contained the parameters upon which the 2025 budget proposals would be set.
