Tinubu nominates two INEC national commissioners for Senate

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has submitted the names of two nominees for the position of National Commissioners for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The list also includes a nominee for resident Electoral Commissioner for Ondo State.

President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, read the names at plenary on Monday.

Honourable Saseyi Feyijimi Ibiyemi is the nominee for the seat of REC, Ondo State.

The President of the Senate, who referred Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s request to the Senate Committee on INEC led by Senator Sharafadeen Ali, asked the Committee to revert to complete its assignment expeditiously.
