President Bola Tinubu has congratulated industrialist and entrepreneur, Prince Albert Awofisayo, on his 80th birthday.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu joined Awofisayo’s family, friends, business associates and well-wishers in celebrating the octogenarian.
The President described Awofisayo as a distinguished Nigerian whose life had been defined by enterprise, resilience and service.
“President Tinubu joins the family, friends, business associates and well-wishers of Prince Awofisayo in celebrating a distinguished Nigerian whose life has been defined by enterprise, resilience and service,” the statement said.
Tinubu commended Awofisayo for his pioneering contributions to the development and modernisation of tertiary healthcare facilities, as well as indigenous cosmetics and pharmaceutical manufacturing in Nigeria.
The President also noted that over five decades, the industrialist had built businesses, created jobs and opened new paths for younger entrepreneurs.
“His journey bears witness to the courage and staying power required to build enduring enterprises in Nigeria,” the statement added.
Tinubu wished Awofisayo a joyful birthday celebration and prayed for his continued good health, strength and many more fulfilling years with his family and loved ones.
