The President arrived in Riyadh on Thursday evening for the religious exercise.
Tinubu was received at the King Khalid International Airport by Saudi government officials and members of the Nigerian delegation.
Arogidigba Global Journal reports that the lesser hajj, also known as Umrah, is a spiritual journey undertaken by Muslims outside the main Hajj period.
According to the Presidency, Tinubu is expected to use the opportunity to pray for Nigeria’s peace and progress.
His trip comes amid preparations for the 2027 general elections and recent political realignments across the country.
