Selection Process
The order of applicants in the respective category will be determined on the basis of the results of a standardised test. Applicants may choose between the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the SCIO tests in Mathematics (MAT) and General Academic Prerequisites (VŠP). Both tests are evaluated according to the same percentile scale, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants regardless of which test they took.
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following minimum threshold, whether they are applying for bachelor’s or master’s level studies:
- SAT test: a minimum total score of 1100 points (equivalent to percentile 63);
- SCIO tests: a minimum average percentile of 63 (calculated as the average of the percentiles obtained in the Mathematics and General Academic Prerequisites tests).
Applicants whose results fall below the minimum threshold will not be considered. The result of the chosen standardised test will be the only criterion for the selection of successful applicants.
The Scholarship Sponsor will accept results of SAT tests taken in the period from January 1st, 2021, up to the deadline set for the applicant submission. For SCIO tests, applicants must submit an official certificate issued by SCIO.
