Hon. Kunle Yusuff, Director General of Civil Society Organizations on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative (CSCHEI), on Saturday tasked all federal political appointees with the need to prioritise quality education as well as healthcare services for all, irrespective of background or socio-economic status, across the country.
Hon. Yusuff, in a statement made available to Sunday Tribune, applauded the exceptional humanitarian leadership of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, and FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike.
He also emphasised the need for all public office holders to work towards reducing inequality by bridging the gap between the rich and the poor by synergising with Civil Society Organizations with a view to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the country.
He said: “Civil Society Organizations on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative (CSCHEI) applauds the outstanding humanitarian efforts of First Lady, Seyi Tinubu, and Wike, FCT Minister. Their selfless dedication to upliftment and community development is a shining example for all leaders to follow.
“As a platform of accredited Civil Society Organizations, Community-Based Organisations, and Non-Governmental Organizations in Nigeria with a presence in 28 states, we commend Seyi Tinubu’s impactful programmes, which have positively touched lives across the states, fostering youth empowerment and self-employment, which has opened doors of possibilities for many youths.
“It’s also important to acknowledge and appreciate the administrative inclusiveness, human kindness, generosity, and community development programmes supported by Zacch Adedeji. Zacch Adelabu Adedeji, the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, the Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), and Alh. Ahmed Galadima Aminu, the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive, PTDF.
“The above-mentioned are good ambassadors of the Tinubu Presidency. They are worthy of recognition.
“In line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we encourage all Tinubu appointees to prioritise: Quality Education for all, regardless of background or socio-economic status; Good Health and Well-being through accessible healthcare services and healthy lifestyles; Reducing Inequality by bridging the gap between the rich and the poor; Partnerships for the Goals, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve the SDGs.
“We invite all appointees, elected officials, community leaders, and private sector organisations to join forces with Civil Society Organizations, Community-Based Organizations, and Non-Governmental Organizations.
“Together, let’s create a more compassionate and sustainable society, making our country a beacon of humanitarian values and sustainable development. Global Agenda 2030 SDGs is all about human beings, environment, and economy.
