The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that Governor Ademola Adeleke is God’s choice for the forthcoming Osun governorship election, warning that any attempt to rig the governor out would attract the wrath of God.
Primate Ayodele, in a statement issued Friday by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, alleged that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was not God’s preferred choice.
According to him, the APC could only emerge victorious through electoral manipulation, warning that such an outcome would have grave consequences for both the state and the party’s candidate.

“The APC isn’t going to win, except they force themselves. The present candidate of the APC isn’t a preferred candidate before God, so bringing him in is like truncating God’s choice for the people of Osun State, and it’s going to be serious,” he said.
Primate Ayodele maintained that Governor Adeleke would win the election if the process was free, fair and credible.
“Free and fair, it will still be Ademola Adeleke that will win the election; he is the chosen one for the people of Osun State.
“Adeleke is a significant factor in Osun State; it is not yet time for any other candidate in the state, and that’s why they shouldn’t force any candidate to avoid troubles and crisis,” he added.
The cleric also appealed to security agencies to remain neutral and avoid actions that could trigger violence during the election.
“I also want to call on security officials not to try to cause issues during this election; it’s a very volatile atmosphere, and a single spark can cause so much destruction.
“Fighting and killing isn’t the answer to the election; anyone who kills and spreads the blood of innocent people for the election will see the wrath of God,” he warned.
