The President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, commending her commitment to women’s empowerment, national unity and peaceful coexistence.
“Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu should be emulated by women leaders for her commitment to promoting peace and unity across the length and breadth of the country,” Gwarzo said.
Gwarzo, in a statement issued on Monday, described the First Lady’s birthday as a significant milestone and praised her for her service to society and sustained efforts to improve the lives of women.
He also commended Mrs. Tinubu for what he described as her humility and simplicity, saying these qualities made her worthy of celebration and emulation by women leaders across the country.
He recalled that, in recognition of the First Lady’s qualities and contributions to society, the management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) had named its School of Law building after her.
The university don further praised Senator Tinubu for her dedication to the empowerment of women and her contributions to national development.
“On behalf of MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish to extend our warm greetings to the First Lady, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, as she celebrates her 66th birthday,” he said.
Gwarzo wished the First Lady many more years of good health and prosperity, praying that Almighty Allah would grant her long life to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his efforts to advance the country.
