Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State on Monday approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving all his Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants.
In a statement issued by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary, Mashood AbdulRafiu Agboola, the governor said the decision was intended to create opportunities for more party members and inject fresh energy into the administration.
The cabinet reshuffle also affected the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor.
“His Excellency expresses his gratitude to all the appointees for their priceless service to the state. He wishes them the best in their future endeavours.”
The governor directed all the affected appointees to hand over all government property in their custody to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
