General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Dr William Kumuyi, has expressed optimism that Nigeria’s leaders and policymakers will receive divine wisdom and act on messages capable of transforming the nation.
Kumuyi spoke on Wednesday during his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, for the June 2026 edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), themed “Christ’s Wonder-Working Power.”
Addressing Journalists, the cleric said the crusade, which is expected to attract thousands of participants, including government officials and policymakers, would focus on transformation and collective responsibility.

Speaking on his expectations for the programme, Kumuyi expressed confidence that God would help leaders embrace ideas that would promote national development.
“Sometimes, it is not what you say that people hear, but we are trusting God to make our leaders and policymakers hear what they need to hear.
“It is not just about hearing; God will help them to act on what we are all hearing together so that we can make our nation, Africa and the world a better place to live. God can do it, and we believe He will do it,” he said.
The gospel evangelist noted that the Global Crusade with Kumuyi has grown from a Nigerian outreach initiative into a global movement with a presence across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Australia.
Reflecting on the impact of the crusade over the past six years, Kumuyi attributed its success entirely to divine intervention rather than human effort.
“We are human beings and when we pray, we pray with faith and confidence, but we are not the ones who answer prayers. The answers come from God,” he said.
According to him, the crusade has recorded numerous testimonies, including transformed lives, restored families, healing of the sick, and rehabilitation of individuals battling drug addiction and mental health challenges.
“We have seen lives transformed, young people redirected to the right path, people battling mental health challenges and drug addiction restored, families reunited and the sick healed,” Kumuyi added.
The cleric further stressed that the outreach continues to expand across different continents, expressing confidence that God would provide solutions to the challenges confronting nations across the world.
“As I said, this is God at work. It is not a one-man show. We are planning big, aiming big and trusting God to provide solutions to the many challenges confronting the world,” he stated.
