The Olu of Apata, Oba Frederick Durojaiye Balogun, has conferred chieftaincy titles on distinguished individuals, including Chief Momoh Dauda, General Manager of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency. The honor, part of the monarch’s 10th coronation anniversary, recognizes their contributions to the community’s growth.
Chief Momoh dedicated his title to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, crediting his leadership for fostering grassroots development. He pledged continued dedication to Apata’s progress, emphasizing the need for unity and support for the state government’s initiatives.

Oba Balogun highlighted the importance of community development and launched a ₦500 million fundraising campaign for skill acquisition and a multipurpose center. He also appealed for a modern primary healthcare center to serve Apata and surrounding communities.
The event, attended by dignitaries, traditional rulers, and political figures, celebrated the recipients’ impact on the community and reaffirmed their roles in its ongoing transformation.
