Kaduna – The Director General of RELAX, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, Hon. Ahmed Bala, has expressed confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms, arguing that the administration deserves an opportunity to consolidate its development programmes.
Bala made his position known ahead of the President’s 2027 presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna State.
The RELAX Nigeria DG described the administration’s economic policies as significant interventions intended to address longstanding structural challenges affecting public finance, transportation, investment and national development.
RELAX, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, operates as a sister organisation to the City Boy Movement. Both organisations, identified by their leadership as initiatives founded by Barrister Seyi Tinubu, are involved in political mobilisation and advocacy for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Bala said the organisations would continue to encourage public discussion of the government’s policies, achievements and development priorities.
He identified the removal of petrol subsidy and reforms in foreign exchange management as major policy decisions introduced by the administration.
According to him, these reforms should be evaluated alongside efforts to improve revenue mobilisation, attract investment and expand infrastructure development.
The RELAX Nigeria DG pointed to the reconstruction of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano highway as an important federal infrastructure investment.
He also highlighted the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, the Kano-Maiduguri Road rehabilitation programme and the Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe-Biu-Maiduguri corridor as projects expected to improve transportation and regional economic connectivity.

Bala said improved road infrastructure would support agricultural production, interstate commerce and industrial activities, particularly in Northern Nigeria.
In the education sector, he identified the Nigerian Education Loan Fund as an important initiative designed to expand access to tertiary education financing.
He also referenced the new national minimum wage, consumer credit initiatives, agricultural support programmes and government efforts to revitalise primary healthcare facilities.
Bala acknowledged that the cost of living and household purchasing power remain major concerns for Nigerians.
However, he expressed confidence that improved policy implementation and sustained investment could help address some of these challenges.
The RELAX Nigeria DG maintained that another four years would provide President Tinubu with an opportunity to consolidate his administration’s reforms, complete ongoing projects and strengthen the foundations of economic development.
He urged Nigerians to examine the government’s performance, challenges and future commitments as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
