The University of Wyoming is welcoming applications from eligible international students for a fully funded graduate opportunity to study in the USA.
In addition to a $29,016 stipend per year, the University of Wyoming Graduate Scholarship covers tuition fee, and provides a coverage of health insurance for all selected candidates.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the University of Wyoming Scholarship, you must meet the requirements below:
- B.S. or B.A. in wildlife biology, biology, ecology, or a elated field.
- Some relevant field research experience.
- Undergraduate (and MS if applicable) GPA of ≥ 3.0
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
- Commitment to dissemination of research results via publication in peer-reviewed journals, and presentations at conferences and to project partners
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interest in research, avian ecology, and wildlife conservation.
- Ability and willingness to communicate respectfully with project partners and other colleagues/peers.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to hike within steep and varied terrain
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
- M.S. degree in wildlife biology, biology, ecology, or a related field
- Strong quantitative skills and some statistical analysis experience
- At least one peer-reviewed scientific publication
- Experience with capture, safe handling, and banding of small birds
- Strong writing skills
