Applications for the 2027 Rutgers University Scholarships are now open for home and international students.
The Rutgers University Scholarships is a fully funded graduate assistantship that covers tuition, and living expenses for a doctoral degree at the Cook-Douglass Campus (New Brunswick, New Jersey).
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Rutgers University Scholarship 2027, you must:
- have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in a relevant field.
- have strong writing and quantitative skills and visual/audio bird identification skills in the eastern US, with GIS skills.
- satisfy the English Language requirements of the institution.

- The professor will be reviewing applications and contacting potential candidates with follow-up questions in early October (i.e., do not expect to hear back until then).
- Formal Rutgers E&E Program applications for Fall 2027 are due by December 1st, 2026.
