International students interested in pursuing graduate degrees in the United States are invited to apply for the 2027 Oklahoma State University Scholarship.
The Oklahoma State University Scholarship comes with full benefits that includes an annual stipend, health insurance, and a tuition waiver.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the 2027 Oklahoma State University Scholarship, you must meet the requirements below;
- Backgrounds in GIS, Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or any related area are welcome to apply.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are highly motivated, proficient in GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS Pro), familiar with quantitative methods, comfortable with programming, eager to learn, hardworking, and interested in an area related to Dr. Hu’s research focuses, including:
- Geospatial big data analytics
- Human behavior and public health
- Location-based social media data analytics
- Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI)
- Human mobility
- Spatial epidemiology
Benefits
- Funding, which will be available to support the student through a research assistantship, but the student will also have an opportunity with teaching or research assistantships.
- This will cover tuition fees, living stipend, conference and research travel, and health insurance.
