The Arkansas Tech University Scholarship is a fully funded graduate assistantship for international students to study in the USA.
The Arkansas Tech University Scholarship includes a full tuition waiver and a stipend of $15,000 per year to cover living expenses.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Arkansas Tech University Scholarship in USA, you must:
- meet the admission requirements of the Arkansas Tech University Graduate College, including a B.S. degree in wildlife biology, ecology, biology, natural resources, or a closely related field;
- have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; and competitive GRE scores.
- pass a background check, possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record,
- be willing to work long hours under sometimes challenging field conditions.
- Experience identifying birds by sight and sound is highly desirable.
- Preference will be given to applicants with strong quantitative, analytical, and scientific writing skills.
- Experience with R or other statistical software is also desirable, although not required.
Benefits
- The successful applicant will be supported by a teaching assistantship of $15,000 per year for up to 2.5 years.
- Teaching duties include instructing undergraduate laboratory sections during the spring and fall semesters (typically two labs each semester).
- A tuition waiver is also included.
