A Nigerian Senator on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Ifeanyi Ubah, is dead.
Ubah, a politician and oil mogul, representing Anambra South District in the National Assembly, died in London, the United Kingdom.
The Senator, who defected from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the ruling APC last year, was said to have left the country for London two days ago.
Meanwhile, Tribune Online reports that Ubah recently joined a list of notable politicians from the South-East who commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for signing the South-East Development Commission bill into law.
Also, the businessman, who until his death served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Capital Oil, founded in 2001, was reported to have donated, alongside his campaign council, the sum of N71 million to the APC in Anambra.
