Arsenal paid tribute to Nigerian schoolboy, Daniel Anjorin during a home game against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.
Anjorin, a 14-year-old Arsenal fan, died after being attacked with a sword while walking to school in Hainault, a suburb in east London.
Marcus Arduini Monzo, 36, has been charged with the teenager’s murder.
The Emirates Stadium erupted in applause in the 14th minute, with the permission of Anjorin’s family, in respect for the teenager’s love for Arsenal.
During the Premier League game, fans also held up a banner with the words “RIP Daniel.”
Anjorin was a pupil at Bancroft’s School, which praised him as a “true scholar” with a “positive nature and gentle character.”
