Nollywood icon Rita Dominic recently revealed the underlying reasons for her prolonged absence from the acting scene and her challenging transition to life in London.
Around 2002, Rita made the difficult decision to step away from acting, relocating to London to navigate through her dark period. She candidly shared that a fallout with close friends, whom she considered family, prompted the hiatus.
In London, Rita found herself embracing a different role, working as a caregiver for adults with special needs in a care facility.
While some may perceive this shift as a downgrade from her career, Rita saw it as a source of fulfillment and purpose during a trying time in her life.
