Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino has explained what went wrong during his side’s Premier League 4-2 defeat to Wolves on Sunday.
Pochettino watched as Wolves defeated the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
Cole Palmer put the host ahead but a really disappointing performance saw Wolves go away with all three points.
A hat-trick from Matheus Cunha gave the visitors the win over Chelsea.
Thiago Silva did score a late header for Pochettino’s side.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Pochettino said the energy of his team dropped.
“We didn’t start badly, the game. The way we conceded the first goal; the team suffered. We tried to build the momentum and trust with the way we play. A difficult moment to manage after that,” the Argentine said.
“The energy dropped and then it was really difficult moment to manage. We concede the second goal, two own goals in the first-half.”
