Dr Titilope Gbadamosi, Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Youth Initiatives (Monitoring and Delivery), has been appointed spokesperson of the South-West Directorate of Youth Mobilisation of the 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.
The appointment is seen as an opportunity to bring her experience in youth-focused government initiatives and engagement with young Nigerians into the APC’s political mobilisation structure ahead of the 2027 general election.
Since her appointment as a presidential aide, Gbadamosi has been involved in monitoring and delivering youth initiatives, with responsibilities that place her at the intersection of government policy, youth participation and the expectations of young Nigerians.
Her work with the youth constituency has given her an understanding of the importance of engaging young people, communicating government interventions and ensuring that youth-focused programmes translate into meaningful participation and opportunities.
Her new assignment within the APC campaign structure will see her take on a broader communication role, serving as the official voice of the South-West Directorate and articulating its activities, positions and progress across the six states in the region.
The appointment was announced alongside those of Hon. Moremi Ojudu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement for the South-West, who was named Chair of the Zonal Community Engagement Platform, and Dr Seriki Muritala, who was appointed Chair of the Committee of Young APC Candidates.
The appointments were contained in a statement signed by the Zonal Secretary of the Directorate, Barr. Adesuyi Daramola, and obtained by newsmen on Friday.
The statement read: “The South-West Directorate of Youth Mobilisation of the 2027 APC Presidential Campaign Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Titilope Gbadamosi as Spokesperson of the Zonal Directorate, Hon. Moremi Ojudu as Chair of the Zonal Community Engagement Platform, and Dr Seriki Muritala as Chair of the Committee of Young APC Candidates.”
Gbadamosi’s position was zoned to Oyo State in line with the Directorate’s commitment to geographical inclusion.
Her emergence comes at a time when political parties are increasingly recognising the importance of young voters and the need for credible voices capable of connecting with them beyond conventional political messaging.
With her background in youth initiatives and experience within the Presidency, Gbadamosi is expected to bring an understanding of the concerns and aspirations of young Nigerians to the Directorate’s communication and mobilisation efforts.
The Directorate is expected to coordinate youth mobilisation activities across Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti states ahead of the 2027 general election.
The statement disclosed that the appointments followed resolutions unanimously adopted at the Directorate’s inaugural meeting held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
Congratulating the appointees, Daramola expressed confidence in their capacity to strengthen the Directorate’s activities and deliver on its mandate across the South-West.
