The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Campaign Council says it will appoint more people as it expands its campaign structure across Nigeria.
The Director of Strategic Communication, Phrank Shaibu, said the recently announced list was only part of the council and that more appointments would follow.
According to him, “The campaign is still evolving. Consultations are continuing, and further responsibilities will be assigned as the structure expands across the country.
“His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, remains deeply conscious of the sacrifices made by those who have stood with him over the years. Loyalty is remembered. Sacrifice is respected. Friendship is valued.
“To those who may feel disappointed that their names have not appeared yet, we ask for patience and understanding. No one should believe that years of commitment and sacrifice have been forgotten.
“Our strength has always been our people and the relationships built over many years. We must preserve that bond.”
Shaibu said the campaign would include party members, experienced leaders, professionals, young people and other Nigerians who are ready to contribute to its activities.
He added that zonal and state structures, more senior appointments and other levels of organisation reaching wards and polling units would be announced soon.
The campaign is also developing policies covering areas such as the cost of living, food security, security, electricity, jobs, manufacturing, education, healthcare, infrastructure, housing, governance, technology and environmental protection.
The council described the campaign as a national movement that would continue to grow by bringing together Nigerians who want improved living conditions, more business opportunities and a better future.
