Rhodes University is pleased to invite applications for the 2027 Patrick & Margaret Flanagan Scholarships to study in the UK.
The Rhodes Patrick & Margaret Flanagan Scholarship includes tuition and living allowances for international students to pursue Master’s and Doctoral degrees at the UK-based institution.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Rhodes University Flanagan Scholarship 2027, you must:
Educational Resources
- be academically outstanding individuals planning to undertake postgraduate research at an international university.
- have strong academic records, clearly defined research interests, and a compelling vision for how their studies will contribute to future professional and societal impact.
- have identified a suitable international university and be able to justify why that institution is the most appropriate destination for their proposed research.
Benefits
- The Patrick & Margaret Flanagan Scholarship offers full-cost funding for successful applicants enrolled in eligible international postgraduate programmes.
- Tuition fees are covered in accordance with the scholarship’s funding conditions, providing substantial financial support throughout the approved period of study.
- In addition to tuition support, successful scholars receive living allowances that are paid on a quarterly basis after they have successfully registered at their host institution.
