A Nigerian lady was astonished after discovering her grandmother’s 1974 social studies note, which contained valuable insights and a brief account of Lagos’s history.

While sorting through their family’s old belongings, @Ayo_Lad said on Twitter (X) that she discovered her grandmother’s 1974 social studies notebook.

“Found my grandmother’s social studies note from 1974. A lot of gems in it, including some scant history of Lagos here. Some bit about the formation of FCT and military governors of 19 states.”

The pictures showed the antique notebook with her grandmother’s handwriting still intact and free of ink smudges, from the front cover to the back.

She revealed that while some of the notes covered the establishment of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and the military governors in 19 states, the pages were filled with interesting details about Lagos’ rich history.

Netizens have stormed to the comment section to appreciate the notebook’s neatness and historical knowledge.

Some conjectured that the curriculum had been altered because the history in the notebook did not align with the current curriculum, while others asked for the book to be published.
