The League of All Progressives Congress, APC Spokespersons, an umbrella body of the state publicity secretaries of the party across the country, have expressed optimism and strong convictions that the appointment of Daniel Bwala as the Special Adviser on Media and Policy Communications to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would propel the nation to greater heights.
According to the League, Bwala’s appointment was on target and strategically positioned to ensure that the programmes and policies of the APC-led administration are disseminated adequately to the people of Nigeria and the world at large.
The spokespersons, in a statement signed by their National Coordinator, Otaru Douglas and made available to journalists at the weekend, said Bwala’s remarkable career spanning through public affairs, advocacy, ability to negotiate and efficient knowledge of arbitration would not only carport and propel Tinubu administration but go a long way to prove the critics of APC government wrong.
“We have no doubt given his remarkable career in legal practice, advocacy, and public commentary – marked by expertise in litigation, corporate law, negotiation, and arbitration, Bwala will inject fresh ideas and unique perspectives in bridging the gaps hitherto neglected in policy information dissemination and should be accorded unwavering support to excel in his new responsibilities for the nation’s benefit and most especially our esteemed party.
“We, the spokespersons of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), enthusiastically welcome this appointment of Barrister Bwala which we have seen as a demonstration of President Tinubu’s commitment to fostering national unity and integration through an inclusive government, transcending party affiliations.
“As a seasoned lawyer with a robust background in law and politics, Barr. Bwala possesses the expertise and competence necessary for this esteemed role.
“His notable experience as spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and subsequent affiliation with the APC showcase his adaptability and growing influence in Nigerian politics.
“We urge those opposing Barrister Bwala’s appointment to look beyond partisan, sentiments and personal hatred. His new role positions him as a pivotal figure in shaping public narratives and policy messaging,” they stated.
