The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has declared that President Bola Tinubu is back and ready to tackle the nation’s challenges.
Gbajabiamila spoke on Saturday night when he joined other senior officials of the administration to receive President Tinubu at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on his arrival from a two-week working vacation to the United Kingdom (UK).
According to the Chief of Staff, Tinubu is back to continue implementing policies and ensuring things are done right, moving in the right direction, adding that he is back with renewed energy.
According to him, the President’s return signifies a fresh dedication to providing effective leadership and advancing Nigeria to its proper position on the international scene.
He compared the leadership of President Tinubu to a captain guiding an aircraft to cruise level, where Nigerians will soon benefit from his efforts. He also stated that Nigerians should start to see the results of his work and the administration’s combined efforts.
“He’s back to continue from where he left off in terms of putting policies in place and making sure things are done right, making sure we’re going in the right direction.
“He’s the captain of the plane, and he’s working to get to a cruising level, which is precisely where we’re going and in a matter of time, Nigerians will begin to see the fruits of his labour and our labour.
“Let’s all be expectant and hopeful, and we’ve been living the renewed hope, and Mr. President is back in Nigeria to continue the good work he’s doing,” he explained.
Gbajabiamila pointed out that President Tinubu’s rigorous work schedule over the previous year and a half called for a short sabbatical, which has left him refreshed and ready to take on the issues facing the country.
