The lawmaker representing Osun Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Olubiyi Fadeyi has kick-started 7.5 Mega-Volt-Amper Power Transformer Sub-Station project in Ila-Orangun, saying provision of infrastructural facilities to the constituents would not be affected by his second term ambition in 2027.
This was just as he commenced work on the 2-kilometer road of Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital located in Ila-Orangun, Osun State
The senator in a statement also hinted that work had already started on solar-powered streetlights from Otan- Ayiegbaju to Ila-Orangun.
The lawmaker who had earlier inspected already completed Open University Community Centre in Ifon-Osun, Open University Community Centre in Oke-Ila and construction of 2 blocks of 16 shops market mall in Inisa, said more developmental projects spread across the 10 local government areas in the Senatorial District will soon commence.
Fadeyi added, “I am inspecting some of the senatorial projects I initiated to ensure compliance with specification. We have a lot of projects that have been completed already and more projects across the 10 local government areas in Osun Central Senatorial District will come up latest by November.

“Some of the completed projects I inspected include 4 blocks classroom at Ota – Efun Community Grammar School in Olorunda local government, 4 block classroom blocks at Anglican Grammar School, Iree in Boripe local government. I also flag off work on 5km solar-powered streetlights from Otan- Ayiegbaju to Ila-Orangun.
“We have also formally flagged off construction and installation of 7.5 MVA Power Transformer ( Sub-Station unit ) in Ila-Orangun and also that of 2km road Construction of Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ila-Orangun has also been done. The forthcoming election won’t cause distractions. We will continue to work on the ongoing projects and initiate new ones.”
He said the senatorial projects were selected after consultations with the residents of the various communities where they were cited and challenged politicians to create an avenue for exchange of ideas with their constituents in a bid to meet and surpass people’s expectations.
On his 2027 ambition, Fadeyi, who is seeking reelection on the platform of the People’s Democractic Party, said the people will vote antecedents and not promises.
