Zamfara State Ministry of Justice and the State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC has agreed to strengthen their already existing synergy with the legal department.
The agreement made when the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Sani Mustapha received the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Abdulaziz Sani, SAN in his office.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Spokesman of the Command, Umar Mohammad and made available to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital.
According to the statement, the visit aims to provide cordial working relationship and strengthen already existing synergy with the legal department of the state.
The statement added that, the Commissioner acknowledged the efforts of NSCDC, Zamfara State command in ensuring that civil order is restored under the adept leadership of the state commandant.
He demanded synergy to strengthen the existing collaboration and facilitate a relationship that super
cedes the already existing link and further explore basic avenues of building a seamless legal system and understanding within the State.
“I crave to create a visible change and cooperate strategically to propagate better understanding of law within the confines of the State”, he said.
“Currently, laws in the state are undergoing some necessary amendments contrived to serve the populace and state better. These laws shall be explicit”

Responding, the State NSCDC Commandant, Sani Mustapha appreciated the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Abdulaziz Sani for the numerous legal advises and support being rendered to the command and for this thoughtful unprecedented courtesy visit.
“Ministry of Justice being the custodians of the law in the state and the NSCDC, a law enforcement agency, were birthed to collaborate and ensure justice for the civil populace. And you have confirmed that the State command of NSCDC is elated to continue and better this alliance”
Commandant Sani Mustapha affirmed that NSCDC, Zamfara Command under his stewardship shall conform to legal ethics in ensuring justice is served and promoted as expressed succinctly by the Commandant General, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi.
