The of Kogi State, Governor Yahaya Bello, appointed caretaker Chairmen for the 21 Native Authorities Areas within the state, on Tuesday after the tenure of the elected chairmen ended final December.
An announcement issued on Tuesday by the Chief press secretary to the governor, Onogwu Mohammed stated that the appointment was in accordance with the Re-enacted Regulation of the Kogi State, outlining the institution, composition, construction, finance, and features of the native authorities areas, 2023.
He stated that the governor’s motion is geared toward effectively filling the void left by the previous native authorities chairmen who’ve just lately accomplished their commendable tenure of workplace.
“These caretaker chairmen, fastidiously chosen for his or her competence and dedication, are poised to steer the ship of their respective native authorities areas with unwavering dedication and resolve.” He stated.
