Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has pledged to ensure the safe return of Kano minors facing charges of arson, treason, and other offenses in a Federal High Court in Abuja.
He stated this via his official X page on Saturday revealing that he has directed the Kano Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice to take swift action on the matter.
He wrote, “My attention has been drawn to the appearance of teenagers (some believed to be from Kano) in court today in Abuja.

Tribune Online reports that 76 suspects, mostly minors, were arrested during the August #EndBadGovernance protests on Friday for vandalism, attacking police, and chanting anti-government slogans.
However, during the proceedings, six of the suspects collapsed and were swiftly taken out of the courtroom for medical care.
According to their counsel, Deji Adeyanju, the minors had spent over 80 days in Police custody. Adeyanju expressed concerns about their well-being, emphasising that many are still minors
The court subsequently granted each minor bail set at N10 million, a decision that has sparked widespread criticism.
