Nigeria’s D’Tigers suffered another defeat at the AfroBasket 2025 qualifiers after falling to Uganda 72-62 in their second Group B game on Saturday, February 24.
Nigeria had opened their campaign with a defeat after going down to Libya 89-82 on Friday.
In the match against Uganda, D’Tigers only paraded nine players, just like in the game against Libya.
Uganda won all four quarters in Saturday’s game.
The East Africans took the first quarter 12-7 and also topped the second quarter 29-19.
In the third quarter, Uganda also finished as the winner with 55 points to D’Tigers’ 44 before rounding off with the final score of 72-62.
D’Tigers will close the first qualifying window on Sunday when they take on Cape Verde.
