UEFA Pro License candidate Nosayaba Iyamu has expressed his excitement and gratitude after completing the prestigious Manchester City Football Club Masterclass Coaching Programme, describing the experience as a transformative milestone in his coaching career.
Nosayaba, an Edo State native, said the programme provided invaluable insights into the innovative tactics and methodologies that have propelled Man City to the forefront of global football.
“From the moment I entered the training facility, I was struck by Manchester City’s commitment to excellence,” he said.
“The programme was meticulously designed to deepen our understanding of modern football while connecting us with a network of elite professionals.”
The masterclass included intensive sessions led by some of the club’s top coaches, covering areas such as player development, tactical analysis, and team dynamics.
“The hands-on approach was what set this experience apart. Practical drills complemented theoretical discussions, allowing us to immediately apply what we learned.
“Manchester City’s philosophy of fluid play and adaptability reinforced my belief in the importance of creativity and understanding individual player strengths,” he said.
The programme also fostered a sense of community among participants, uniting coaches from elite clubs worldwide.
“The discussions during and after sessions were incredibly enriching,” Nosayaba added.
“Exchanging ideas with like-minded professionals sparked new perspectives on tackling challenges in football coaching. Being part of such a collaborative environment was both motivating and inspiring.”
Completing the programme earned Nosayaba membership in Manchester City’s prestigious alumni network, which he described as a career-defining moment.
