Bandits have abducted two healthcare workers during an attack on a primary health center in Kuyallo Ward, Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
The attackers reportedly invaded the village on Monday, targeting the health center and abducting two community extension workers.
According to Channels Television, a local community leader revealed that the bandits initially planned to attack a nearby government primary school.

`However, finding no students present, they turned their attention to the healthcare facility, where they kidnapped the two workers.
The source also mentioned that some patients who were admitted at the time may have been taken by the bandits during the raid.
Kaduna State Police Command spokesman, Mansir Hassan, explained that poor telecommunication coverage in the Birnin-Gwari area prevented residents from notifying the police in time.
He added that a police team is already pursuing the bandits in an effort to arrest them and rescue the abducted individuals.
