Former Chelsea star Chris Sutton has urged Arsenal to signal Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke as a substitute of Brentford’s Ivan Toney.
Arsenal have been linked with each Toney and Solanke this January switch window.
Nevertheless, Sutton believes Solanke can be a greater choice for Mikel Arteta’s facet, given his kind for Bournemouth this season.
“How will you be sure Ivan Toney would are available and hit the bottom working? He has not performed,” Sutton advised BBC.
“Ivan Toney has confirmed himself as a very achieved striker, but when Arsenal signal him, that doesn’t assure they may win the league.”
He continued: “Solanke, Dominic Solanke, at this second in time, I believe he’s an excellent all-round striker; at this second in time, if I needed to decide Solanke or Toney, I’d decide Solanke simply because he’s in a little bit of rhythm, he leads the road, and also you don’t know what you’re going to get from Toney; that’s an excessive amount of of a threat at this second in time.”
