A now viral video that was shared on Social Media has left many in stitches after a Pilot delivered flight announcements in Pidgin English.
The clip that was shared on TikTok captured the hilarious reactions of the passengers onboard as they listened to the pilot’s announcement.
As the plane prepared for takeoff, the pilot’s voice could be heard via the speakers, casually saying, “Today, road clear, no police,” a statement that caught the attention of all on board.
He went on to make more announcements in pidgin, ditching the formal aviation way of making announcements.
He said;
“Together with my lovely crew members we dey welcome una as e be now everybody we go follow us for this plane don enter. Today road clear, no police, no road safety, no military check point. Abeg anytime wey you see that sign wey dey say make you carry that rope wey you sit down untop tie yourself well well no drag sit before you do that wan oh.”
Majority who came across the video immediately identified the pilot from his voice as Captain Callistus, noting that it was a common thing for him to do.
