President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sympathy for flood victims across Nigeria, following devastating reports from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) indicating significant loss of life and extensive damage to farmlands.
Thousands have been displaced as communities grapple with the aftermath of the floods.
In his statement issued by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu emphasised the urgent need for collective action to address environmental challenges and enhance climate resilience.
He assured affected Nigerians that his administration will continue to provide support and early warnings to mitigate future disasters, while praying for the deceased and their families.
