President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after attending the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, which took place on January 27-28, 2025.
The summit aimed to address energy access challenges across the continent, with a goal of providing electricity to 300 million people by 2030.
Tinubu’s presidential jet landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at approximately 7:40 PM WAT on Tuesday.
During the summit, he emphasised Nigeria’s leadership role in Africa’s energy sector and highlighted ongoing clean energy initiatives. The event, hosted by Tanzania in collaboration with the African Development Bank and World Bank, featured discussions on renewable energy and mobilising private sector investment to enhance energy access across Africa.
