President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of Abba Aliyu, as the new Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency and four other management staff.
Ajuri Ngelale, a presidential spokesperson, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
The development comes after the President suspended Ahmad Salihijo Ahmed and three executive directors over N1.2 billion fraudulent misappropriation in the past two years.

Olufemi Akinyelure — Head of Project Management Unit, Nigeria Electrification Project
Tinubu urged all appointees in his administration to uphold the highest standards of transparency and accountability in discharge their duties.
