Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom on Friday hailed all fallen heroes of the Nigerian Armed Forces for the supreme sacrifices they made for the nation.
Eno mentioned this through the emblem launch to mark the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, organised by the Ministry of Girls Affairs and Social Welfare in Uyo, the state capital.
The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, mentioned: “The remembrance of our fallen heroes at present turns into crucial as a result of lots of people put their lives on the road and went by means of excruciating ordeals for the protection of the nation.
