A teenager was kidnapped and taken to an apartment in Germany’s Black Forest where she was tied up and repeatedly raped by a man she had met on holiday, according to reports.
The 18-year-old woman had been missing since last Tuesday, Feb. 6, and was found being held captive by the man, 22, whom she first became acquainted with while abroad.
The pair had reportedly met up again at the woman’s apartment in Berlin, where the man stayed with her for some time.
Things took a dark turn when the man threatened the woman with a weapon and tied her up, before forcing her into his car and driving her almost 500 miles to Kinzigtal. There he took her to an apartment where she was raped over several days before eventually being discovered after her family raised the alarm.
Friends and family had searched for the teenager for three days before reporting her as a missing person to police.
The man, who is from Lahr in southwestern Germany, was arrested and is said to remain in police custody.
Police searching the apartment said they found a blank gun. They added that the property was not the man’s home but was “accessible” to him.
A police spokesman said: “Interviews were carried out and in the course of the investigation there was a suspicion that there could be a sexual offence and that the offence of deprivation of liberty had been committed.”
