Taraba State Commissioner for cooperative and poverty alleviation, Mr Habu Philip has refuted the claim that he was in a cool war with the lawmaker representing his constituency, Mrs Veronica Alhassan.
The commissioner while responding to the publication, described it as the handiwork of mischief makers, staged to get cheap publicity.
Mr. Philip declared that he would never disrespect the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), by having issues with any member of the party.
He urged Tarabans to disregard the publication, as he and the assembly members are in good working, politicking and talking teams.
“I am not in any war whatsoever with the lawmaker representing my constituency, the Bali (l) state constituency. She is my mother and mentor.
“Having any issue with her, to me is as the same as disrespecting the PDP. I can never disrespect the PDP. I will never fight with Hon. Veronica. She is my mother. The publication is falsehood and fake portray.

“Those behind the publication are only trying to create chaos where there non. It’s laughable to hear that I am in a cool war with someone that has been feeding me. Hon. Veronica has been feeding me right before she became a legislature representing my constituency.
“Before now, she made me chairman taskforce on produce in Bali. She also appointed me as (P.A), on special duties. How can I start fighting her now that she is the lawmaker representing my constituency?
“I am a loyal party man. I can not fight committed PDP members like Veronica Alhassan. Fighting her is as good as disrespecting Governor Agbu Kefas and the entire PDP.”
