Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyeka, is confident that his team is prepared for their next challenge at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
Onyeka stated this on Saturday in a post on his X handle.
He wrote, “We’re ready for the next chapter of this!”
This is coming barely 24 hours after the Eagles beat Angola to advance into the semi-final game of the ongoing 2023 TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup in Cote d’Ivoire on Friday.
Nigeria secured a spot in the AFCON semi-finals with a single goal scored by Ademola Lookman in the 41st minute.
By February 7, 2024, Nigeria will compete at the 40,000-seat Peace Stadium in Bouake against the victor of the Cape Verde vs. South Africa match, which will take place on Saturday, for a spot in the AFCON semi-finals.
