Sunshine Stars U-17 coordinator, Rafiu Yusuf says new players will be added to the cadet squad in other to form a formidable youth team for the club.
Yusuf said the move is aimed at consolidating the club’s achievement in the NPFL youth league.
Arogidigba Global Journal reports that Sunshine Stars finished second in the table with Remo Stars qualifying from the zone.
“I am happy with the way our players played and we just needed to inject a few legs into the team,” he told newsmen after the zonal qualifiers in Ekiti.
“We have to move on and take from the positives that we have in the game.
“I will urge the management of the football agency and the state government to keep the crop of players together for the future.”
