The Sokoto Professionals Network (SPN) held its second annual general meeting in Sokoto, with the theme “A Year of Consolidation and Progress.”
The event brought together professionals from various sectors and regions, both locally and globally.
In his address, the Chairman of the SPN , Engr. Zayyanu Tambari Yabo, highlighted the network’s commitment to supporting the development of Sokoto State and its people.
Yabo noted that the organization has made significant strides, including training 100 young people in solar installation and maintenance.
In his address the Minister of State for Works, Barrister Bello Muhammad Goranyo, emphasized on the importance of collaboration and strategic partnerships in driving economic growth.
Goranyo commended the SPN leadership and members for organizing the meeting, which resonates with President Bola Tinubu’s objectives.
Also speaking in his goodwill message, Dr. Balarabe Shehu Kakale, applauded the establishment of SPN as an essential step towards the development of Sokoto, Nigeria, and Africa.
He described the initiative as rooted in strategic and forward-thinking principles, reflecting the traditions of their ancestors.
The annual general meeting provided a platform for SPN members to reflect on their progress, challenges, and future plans. With its focus on consolidation and progress, the network is poised to continue making meaningful contributions to the development of Sokoto State and beyond.
