A soldier in mufti has allegedly stripped a man naked at a popular nightclub in Abuja, insisting he wore a military camouflage.

In a video posted on Instagram by Isaac Fayose, the brother of the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, the distressed young man mentioned that the soldier approached him, stripped him naked and proceeded to tear his pair of trousers.

The young man disclosed that the military personnel in Mufti approached him and stripped him at the Abuja nightclub while he was having fun.

He said,

“It is not a military uniform, It’s a designer that I bought”

The security guard on duty confirmed the situation with the opinion that the men were familiar with each other.

The clip has sparked differing reactions, as online users expressed displeasure towards the man’s embarrassing situation.

Many emphasized the majority shouldn’t appear in military camouflage to avoid embarrassment and disrespect from military officers.

Some viewers assert wearing camouflage or similar military attire is prohibited in Nigeria and the military camouflage is strictly reserved for authorized personnel only.
